Welcome to PeterWelker.com, the official website for the popular jazz musician, Peter Welker. Peter has been playing all genres of music from the bell of his trumpet since age 9, loving every moment of his experience as a musician. Peter has toured and recorded with the likes of Van Morrison, Santana, Cold Blood, Huey Lewis, Buddy Miles and Dr. John. Peter has been nominated for a Bammie (Bay Area Music Awards) in the Best Horn Player Category. Welker's horn section, Horns 'R Us, have often been hired to back and tour with Soul and R&B musicians such as The Temptations, the Four Tops and Smokey Robinson. Peter currently resides in the beautiful San Fransisco Bay Area. Peter enjoys connecting with the community and spreading his love for music anytime he can.
